The following content is displayed on the same screen for your experiment so that you can make any necessary reference in experiment. Start your experiment now!

1. Generate CDP configuration file(Duration: 8 mins)
   

   CDP uses zosmf plug-in to create and modify configuration files.

   1. Click the top zosmf button to open the browser login interface of zosmf（ https://zos/zosmf ）, log in to zosmf with the saved user name and password.

   2. Double click the CDP plug-in icon

   

   3. Click to create a new policy file

   

   4. Enter the name of the policy file (the name of the new policy here must be demo_ Profile), and then click data stream. On the configuration page of data stream, users are allowed to select the host operation and maintenance system logs and SMF data types to be downloaded, including syslog, RMF III, address spaces, CICS, storage, security, DB2, device, and user-defined data. Due to the limitation of system resources, only a few simple data types are selected as examples.

   

   5. Select zos syslog / SMF_ 30/SMF_ 70/CICS SMF_ 110, click Select

   

   

   6. Then, you need to configure the corresponding subscription information for the selected data stream data to specify the target platform information for data download. This experiment uses elastic stack of X86 platform as host operation and maintenance data storage and display platform. Logstash is used to receive the host operation and maintenance data, which is stored in elasticsearch database, and kibana is used to analyze and display the operation and maintenance data.

   Select any generated data stream icon here and select the following button

   

   7. Click the following button to add the platform information of data download

   

   8. Configure the download platform information. The name can be specified arbitrarily. Set it to logstash, select CDP logstash for protocal, and set the host IP and port information of logstash service to 172.16.180.45 and 5044 respectively. Click OK after completion.

   

   9. Click the update subscriptions button to update the subscription information.

   

   10. Click the other data stream items respectively, configure the subscription information of the data download platform, and select the subscription name logstash created previously (each item is carried out separately)

   

   

   11. After configuration, click save

   

   

2. Start cdp start taks(Duration: 3 mins)
   

   1. Click the top cli button, open the terminal command line terminal, and enter CDP- restart.sh Execute the script to start the host CDP address space.

   $cdp- restart.sh

   The above script will use the zowe cli client to connect to the Z / OS host environment remotely, and start the CDP address space of the host through the zowe cli command. 3. 登陆kibana查看CDP搜集的主机运维日志和SMF数据(Duration: 4 mins)
   

   Click the kibana button at the top, or access it directly in the browser http://kibana : 5601 / APP / home, open kibana interface.

   1. Check the system log data and select the discover button on the home page of kibana.

   

   Select the time as the past 30 days to view the logs collected in this time period. This interface can be customized according to the actual needs (search, display specific interface, storage, etc.), because of the time, there is no too much experimental content.

   

   2. View host SMF data

   Select discover to view the original data of smf30 according to the following screenshot configuration conditions

   

   3. View CDP to display SMF processing interface by default

   Select dashboard in the left menu bar and select the Z / OS dashboard interface. Because of the effect, the historical data is displayed here. This type of interface can also be customized according to requirements.

   

   

   

4. 查看交易分析数据（为了界面效果，此处采用历史数据展现）(Duration: 4 mins)
   

   Click the top izoa data analysis button to log in to the transaction analysis platform（ https://izoa-data-analysis : 8080 / # / auth / login), log in with the saved user name and password.

   The data displayed in this interface is to obtain SMF through_ 30，SMF_ Through model training, the content of transaction data analysis is presented, and the data comes from the host data obtained by CDP.
